After a robust public search, our Executive Committee offered liz the position knowing that her 25+ years of nonprofit management experience combined with her deep commitment to the liberation of BIPOC communities makes her an ideal candidate (full bio). liz is excited to see the organization through upcoming changes including expansion into Alameda County and incorporating art and culture into our civic engagement campaigns. We are also expanding our leadership team with the creation of a new position – Deputy Director. We seek a skilled organizer and coalition-builder concrete skills in organizing and policy campaigns with management experience to serve as our new Deputy Director. The successful candidate will: 
    – confidently cultivate and build the relationships necessary to sustain and grow our projects; and 
    – understand the importance of aligning and building the power of movement organizations in Oakland and Alameda County.
