Funding and community safety decisions happen at all levels of government including statewide. Residents in Assembly District 18 – portions of Oakland, San Leandro and Alameda – will vote on who replaces Asm. Rob Bonta (recently appointed to Attorney General) to rep us in Sacramento. If you are registered in AD 18, you should have received a ballot in the mail. You can vote now until Tuesday, June 29th which is the deadline to mail in your ballot.
